Sha' Chi- Sha' chi is the opposite of Sheng Chi. It literally means "killing breath". Sha' Chi can be either stagnant or destructive chi. Both are detrimental to health.

Sheng Chi- The simplest definition of Sheng chi is positive energy. However we can delve deaper into the meaning. Sheng Chi is the term used when energy is in balance. It literally means "cosmic breath" and is thought of as the life force. When chi is said to flow in a meandering healthy pattern is said to be Sheng Chi. It is the life force that causes growth.
